It is quite intelligent to seek corroborating evidence when someone claims to speak on behalf of an almighty God. Even when the apostle Paul spoke to certain audiences as recorded in the New Testament, they carefully weighed his words against other sources of information, and were commended for doing so (Acts 17:11).
Along those lines, here are topics and arguments that deal in large part with extrabiblical source material - material that corroborates the Bible:
1.
        IS THERE A GOD?
To merely believe there is a God is not wrong. However to see evidence
and logical reasoning for it may result in a more sure faith.
        2.
NATURAL REVELATION: Good science is good theology
If God does not lie to us through his written revelation
(Scripture), then neither does he likely lie to us through his created
revelation - the observable world around us. (This is similar to the topic
        above.)
        3.
WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT JESUS - FROM NONBIBLICAL SOURCES?
Reports of Jesus by those who, at that time, did
not believe him to be God at least confirm that Jesus walked the earth,
and confirm certain other persons and events which the Bible records.
        This is highly recommended reading.

        4.
HOW DID THE OLD TESTAMENT INSTRUCT PEOPLE TO RECOGNIZE GOD'S PROMISED
        MESSIAH?
Beyond the Old Testament references, this also reveals
early Jewish writings and teachings about the Messiah or Christ.
        5. GOD, EVIDENCE,
        AND ATHEISTS
What is the nature of evidence, how much do we have,
what is enough, and why isn't there more?
        6. WOULD THE
DISCOVERY OF LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS TOTALLY DESTROY THE BIBLE?

        Talk
about extrabiblical information - it hardly gets more "extra"
than this. But how would such a discovery affect belief in the universe's
        creator?
        7. THE REFORMATIONS
After the dark ages of biblical ignorance came the
printed Bible and thankful corrections to a church gone awry. As a type
of extrabiblical reference, learn what difference proper biblical interpretation
        makes.
        8.
WHERE DID THE EARTH COME FROM?
If secular interpretation of scientific evidence
is to believed about the earth's formation, why not believe Moses for
having said the very same thing 3,400 years ago?

        9. CREATION SCIENCE
Other than belief in God and the Bible, read this
to learn the wide base of extra-biblical information which supports creation
        science. It may surprise you.

Many
people live, work, and vote based on their belief in the Bible.
This affects you. Should the Bible have that authority?
View the evidence and judge for yourself.
