WHY THIS?
I believe that people have fears that figure more prominently in their minds than failing to return God's love.
The questions are: which fears are actually credible, and what do we do about them?
"I have far more powerful fears than fear of God because I find them so much more credible."
"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."
Matthew 10:28 NIV
RESPONSE:
Ah…defining and recognizing a "credible threat". What a moniker that is for these post 9/11 times; times which know the cost of a misplaced sense of security.
If you have not previously looked at evidences concerning Jesus or the Bible, and don't know why you should, look at Introduction chapter 7.
If you agree you should, but haven't decided where to begin, review this chart on the main page. This is a very logical path of study that will help you to narrow your search, focusing the on topics of most concern to you.
If you have already surveyed many evidences and still find the Bible unbelievable, consider writing me and specifying either what it was you found that wasn't convincing, or what you expected to find but did not. That way I'd have a better shot at helping you determine whether or not there are any proverbial dots out there that need connecting.
